Welcome to Tasty Food At Home (A.K.A. Bo Make Food)!
The main goal of this site is (1) to serve as a personal archive for family recipes, (2) document culinary explorations, and (3) provide a resource for family and friends. The meals presented will range from strangely unorthodox (e.g., savory ginger and green chili oatmeal) to more challenging such as naturally leavened homemade breads or hand-pulled noodles. The majority of the recipes presented however will be the day-to-day staples of my immediate and extended family.
While we do enjoy eating out, the majority of our meals are prepared at home. Food preparation does not have to be complex. It can be as simple as serving a plate of sliced Honey Crisp apples with warm peanut butter for dipping. Learning to cook is a vital life skill and time well spent!. The joy of controlling the ingredients, creating nourishing meals, and dining with friends and family is priceless!
